Therapy can shift our life-lens and give us perspective. It validates our humanity. It can help us find, understand and maintain our authentic self as well as learn how we communicate and engage with others. Therapy creates a space for empathy, connection and clarity.

Therapy is essential to healing from crisis-related trauma. However, it does not always have to be crisis responsive. You may want to change self-defeating behaviors or develop or improve your sense of purpose. While the influence of life experience from infancy through adulthood is undeniable, I specialize in using person-centered therapy that focuses on the present with strengths-based, solutions-oriented emphasis and holistic and mindfulness practices that nurture self- awareness.

Together, we will develop self-affirming habits that give you new ways to cope and thrive as you navigate your world and sustain a more fulfilling life. I look forward to meeting you!

On a Personal Note

I am originally from the East Coast -- Delaware, but have called California home for many years. Outside of my career, my interests include hiking, painting, listening to many genres of music, and travel. To relax, I enjoy meditation, reading and writing, and I love spending time with family and friends.

"The curious paradox is when I accept myself as I am, then I can change."
