I have spent much of my life learning and searching for meaning. Through teaching and learning I believe I have finally settled into my calling; helping others through mentoring, coaching, counseling and therapy.

As a therapist I draw from my experience as a teacher, coach and mentor. I have taught and coached students of all ages from Kindergarten through Graduate students. I have helped students learn to embrace health and fitness across the country and in Morocco. I have a Bachelors degree in "Human Movement" and two Masters' degrees; one in Education and one in Counseling Psychology. I have a Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise Management with a focus on Youth Development through Sport and Mentoring. When not teaching and coaching, I have worked as a catastrophic claims adjuster following weather catastrophes in the south and wild fires right here in California. Working with individuals who have lost their homes has taught me much about empathy and communication in the immediate after effects of trauma.
