Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #101506
Welcome to Los Gatos Counseling Center! I serve as the Clinical Director, individual and couples therapist, and Supervisor. I work with individuals ranging from adolescence through retirement. I love the challenge of helping couples learn better communication and understanding of their partner. My true passion as a therapist and mentor lies in helping athletes transition to varying levels of sports participation and helping older adults and their families through difficult life transitions. I believe everyone deserves to have a voice and to have that voice heard. I am passionate about allowing my clients the opportunity to be heard in a nonjudgmental way. I view unconditional positive regard, validation, and the therapeutic relationship as key components in healing and growth. Oh yeah, and a little humor doesn't hurt either!
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #108814
I am lucky to have had rich experience working with a wide range of populations in a variety of therapeutic settings including middle school, community college, an eating disorder treatment center and in private practice. I enjoy working with adults, couples, families, teens, and children and specialize in a variety of presenting issues including stress/anxiety, depression, grief/loss, PTSD/trauma, body image/eating disorders, relationship difficulties, and career/life transitions.
We all go through struggles in life, and there is no reason why we should have to get through them all on our own. Therapy should be a safe place where, together as a team, we aim to work through whatever challenges you are facing. Therapy offers the opportunity for us to heal, evolve, and ultimately thrive into our most authentic selves.
